The Description

Aswan, a southern city in Egypt situated on the banks of the Nile, experiences a much slower pace than Cairo. It has been a bustling market town since ancient times and is known for its beautiful scenery, archaeological sights, and Nubian culture.

Turquoise and lapis lazuli were much favoured stones of the Egyptians, as was gold. For them it represented power, wealth, and the Sun God, Ra.

This beautiful and delicate Aswan bracelet has a double strand of raw faceted Afghan turquoise finished in 14k gold fill with a detachable lapis lazuli charm. Both strands are dotted through with gold filled beads and Austrian crystals in gold and blue zircon which shimmer when you move.
