The Description
Athens – one of the world’s oldest cities with a fascinating history spanning thousands of years. Remains of ancient temples carved in marble and monuments still stand, whilst the world around them has changed over centuries.
Reminiscent of ancient Greece with all its lavish jewellery, Athens is a very long adaptable necklace of beautiful clear crystal quartz and warm 14k gold filled metals.
The necklace un-clasps at the lower end allowing it to be wrapped 2-3 times creating a full 3 strand choker, or fasten the clasp along the length to create a long ‘Y’ shape necklace. The stones of amazonite, lapis lazuli (not shown), and crystal quartz can be removed from the ring to leave the delicate gold vermeil heart as a single feature.
The clear crystal quartz can be interspersed with either gold glass or 14k gold filled beads throughout the length.
Owing to its sheer clarity, this gorgeous necklace can be worn with practically any outfit, lending a cool air of class. A truly versatile and timeless piece of jewellery.
This particular crystal quartz is a stone of beautiful quality, sourced personally for me by distinguished gemologist Marcia Lanyon (London). It is used throughout the Athens range.
